Scott Woodford is the current President and Director of Training for Personal Protection Consultants, Inc. having worked for the company since 1992. Scott is the Director of Training for the PATH® "Practical and Tactical Handcuffing", OCAT® "Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training", PPBT® "Personal Protection Baton Tactics" and PPCD “Personal Protection Control & Defense” training programs.

Scott began his teaching career in 1985 where he instructed martial arts as a trainee instructor for the American Taekwondo Association, eventually becoming a nationally certified Taekwondo Instructor in 1988. Scott credits his Taekwondo training for leading him into police tactics training. Since 1983 Scott has studied various martial arts and has attended numerous defensive tactics and police science seminars.

In addition to PATH®, OCAT®, PPBT®, PPCD, Scott is also certified to teach several other programs in the public safety arena. Scott is a retired police officer from a municipal police department in Pennsylvania having served as a Patrolman, Corporal and Sergeant.  In the past Scott also instructed police cadets at the Montgomery County Municipal Police Academy.

Scott is proud to have taught tactics and personal safety topics to thousands of individuals over the last 30 years.
